so BAM! lucas and i went crazy on the 4th and bought a fireworks package that pretty much almost set nepenthe on fire lol




(apologies, the snapzilla photos aren’t as good as the flickr one there but i was too busy to take double copies of these…)

anyway so fireworks were awesome and lucas turned 1 year on sl 😀

the next night he got his rezday lapdance since we kinda passed out on eachother the night before

craziness.

i am working on a little build project slowly… it’s taking a bit of time because i am so exausted when i get off work so my brain is like “OH GOD NO MORE WORKIE!!!” and i just end up standing there while lucas builds X_x

i have no idea what to write about! grid is down for maintenance and i am playing god of war.

(and yes i changed the layout again.)

geeze time keeps flying and i’m having trouble keeping up with it.

today is lucas’ rez day 😀 amazing that we’ve both been around for a year on sl now!

it’s also july 4th which is actually the day i started really playing sl. before july 4th i would show up and camp a little and log out cause i really couldn’t think of anything to do on there lol but the 4th there was a shuttle launch and i decided to go watch it at the nasa center inworld. and that was the day i decided to start hanging around. i went to the angry ant and made some friends over the course of a couple of months (i make friends slow…) and now i’m married and have a store O_o. strange how times change.

not much else to talk about. working on some junk.

i downloaded the first look viewer after much internal debate with myself… my intention had been to check out windlight but to my dismay after i downloaded and installed the client i found that they had taken windlight out of the new first look viewer and put voice in… *pouts* so i missed out on playing with windlight.

from what i saw on the first look viewer, voice sucks… the new chat box they’ve made for it is kinda weird after being so used to having a seperate box for chat and im’s. also i do not have a mic and none of my friends are really interested in voice so blah. not worth it.

the playboy sim was very um.. interesting. i took a really nice shot on the beach there. they had little poseballs set up for you to do your own playboy shoots i guess lol

i also used that image to take a chance at working with some ideas on fuzzing out the backgrounds for some depth. i think it came out well except for a small spot that i flubbed up and didn’t realize until it was too late to fix it easily. but still, it’s a great shot 😀

so my rez day was pretty quiet *pouts* only a couple of people actually said anything, probably less would have noticed if i didn’t post it all over the place. ah well, i’m not a popular sl person anyway so blah :p

as a gift to me on my rez day lucas and i got properly partnered.

i guess we kinda eloped but we’re still planning to have a wedding type thing later on.

the update today really borked something and i spent a large quantity of the day bald with a box on my head because i could not face seeing my avatar with no hair lol

hopefully the day will improve :p

we’re going to check out the playboy sim tonight.. this should be interesting…

happy rezday me!

my rez day is not until tomorrow but since i’ll be working on that day i figured i would take the time to write about it now.

it’s amazing to look back and see how much has changed for me over the course of just one year.

i made friends, worked in a dance club, lost friends, lived in several different interesting locations, made a store, became a radio DJ, made more friends, lost everything, met my soulmate…

it’s been an interesting transition to say the least.

ahem, anyway yes the wait is almost over, LuNi designs is just about ready to be unveiled! and i am excited! lucas has created alot of really nice stuff and i’ve made some nifty things as well 😀 whee!

hopefully we will be having a grand opening party and i will keep the blog posted if that actually does occur.

so yes the shfc party was quite an event! first the party was delayed a little because for some reason the sim that the club is on was suddenly FULL! arg.. sucky. but thankfully sunshine and klink donated a little space on their island and arahan was able to get it up and running without it being too behind schedual. it was a great party and i met people that i’d only seen photos of on flickr or read the blogs of before 😀 lucas accompanied me and we had a blast.

i took many photos! so i’m just gonna link to my flickr account lol.

this is also a small plea of help, as my flickr is a freebie account and i have reached the 200 image limit for visible images… this means that only the newest 200 that i upload will be visible and the rest will be hidden from view 🙁 not cool, and i have no way to make my flickr anything but free. so this is a call to those of you who would like to get me a present (my rez day is coming up soon hint hint) i would really appreciate a paid flickr account so that i can keep on showing off the great places and people that i’m seeing in my travels.

ok i am done being a whore for my photo passion haha.

tomorrow lucas and i will have been dating for 5 months. yay!

this means great things for both me and the shop. great for me cause now me and lucas can get married. :p great for the shop because now i can SEE so i know what stuff i make looks like X_x.

it’s also nice to be able to wander around places and have NO LAG. i have never been able to walk though the crack den so smoothly as i did yesterday with lucas.

this also means that my photo goodness shall return! as soon as i have time for that sort of activity anyway… my real life job is still sucking up most of my free time and when i get home i want to spend the free time i have with lucas so i’ve got hardly any time to do anything else. not that i am complaining about spending time with lucas… lol i’d rather do that than anything else on the whole wide grid.

in other news, the great and powerful arahan claveau has decided to close his club/installation “super fun happy club”. there is a party for it on saturday for members only so if you’re a member of the group, say hi at the party! i’ll be trying to make a small appearance if i can. 🙂 i wish arahan well and hope that he comes up with another cool project that will prod people in sl to THINK instead of just being a dumbass.

i logged in tonight to find that my boyfriend had bought and rezzed a mt. dew machine in our skybox… just for me *loves on him*

we are working on our new store! thanks to waghorne truss we will have a space in his shop (redpod designs)! we’ve got the luni group set up but right now it’s invite only so if you’re interested in joining, please lemmie know, or wait until we open it to the public (if we open it… i dunno if we will or not lol)

oohh! ameshin yossarian (of curious kitties) just gave me a free hugs sign! this should be fun XD

getting a freaking videocard soon… just gotta get my paycheck. and then photos will be pretty and maybe even a wedding in my future!

i don’t have anything to say really, i just wanted to post this… lucas and i met 5 months ago in a crater in gypsy moon, and i love him just as much if not more than when i first spoke to him. for him i would move the stars.
