my rl has taken over!!! nooooo!!!

what is up second life? shit has been crazy lately. are child avvies illegal? i have no clue. that shit is a touchy subject that i’m not sure i should even get into at the moment.

yes i do have a child avvie, and yes i do sometimes run around in it. but no, i do not do dirty things with it… the very idea of that is pretty disgusting to me.

i have no place to judge people though. second life is a world of fantasy, and people can, and should be able to, do as they wish as long as they aren’t actually hurting anyone.

the video brought out by the german government that started this shit, is rumored to be a setup. the avvies were supposedly made by the people who made the video in an attempt to slander LL. and now thanks to them, sl is going to turn into 1984 and who knows what the next thing will be to get yanked away from us. gor? roleplaying in general? furries? the subject is a snowball that if left to roll could take away anything that anyone conciders “weird” leaving second life to be about as dull as a pg chat room.

what people are failing to remember is, these are adults, engaging in something consensual. the two people who were banned were not under age, and (if it wasn’t a set up to begin with) were willing participants in the acts they partook in. in no way is this against the second life terms of service agreement.

if we stop and take out everything that may be illegal or disgusting in every country, and to every person, then we might as well just remove the second life graphics portion all together. there will always be someone who is offended by something.

my hope is that LL comes to it’s senses and realizes that just because they get a little bit of bad press does not mean that they need to punish us all.

my beloved partner has started building some very nice things in second life. a 3 floor skybox that he is currently texturing (we live in a larger version of it.), some random furniture, and he’s even working on animations. we hope to have the new stuff out for sale any time now *nods* and i’ll make sure to update the blog when that becomes available.

this photo got suddenly really popular O_o it’s been up there for months on flickr but just a few days ago it was noticed and added to 2 very cool flickr groups. one of which is very invite only and hard to get involved in apparently. so that’s pretty cool. i miss taking nice photos like that *kicks computer*

yesterday while shopping lucas and i encountered two of the hugest asses i’ve ever seen in second life. WHY?!?! someone please tell me why these girls think that they need an ass that can double as a flotation device? i just do not understand!!!

this evening i am attending a wedding thing for laylah and her partner horus. laylah is lucas’ sl twin and the owner of the sim which we live on. it should be pretty interesting since they are vampires and what not. if only the sim would come back up so i could figure out what i’m going to wear tonight X_x;

so life went crazy and i couldn’t get on for a while but i’ve been back for most of the month and just now getting around to posting something here :s

lucas and i celebrated our 3 month anniversery on the 29th of march. i think we may just be the cutest sl couple ever created. aw…

happy 3 months

currently we are living in a box in the sky on my friend foe’s land. haven’t been doing much second life related stuff because i have the worst videocard on the face of the planet (i was using my now ex real life boyfriend’s computer but now i’m on my computer and it sucks) but soon that will be fixed and i can create things again and take prettier photos.

lucas and i have joined forces to create a new company called LuNi designs. notice the play on words there… so cute! anyway so all of my stuff will be switching over to the new name/logo that we have going. and there will be new stuff! because he is bad ass at animations and he’s really quickly learning how to make stuff. more on that when it happens.

i’ve started showing off my better second life photos on flickr, since i can upload from hard drive i can fix them up in photoshop a bit and they’re better quality than when i use snapzilla. i’ll still use snapzilla for silly things but the really really nice photos will be on my flickr.

still not inspired enough to do anything productive with my time. mostly trying to find something to do that isn’t second life related but unforutantely with a lack of real life money, second life is pretty much all i have to do.

finally getting inspired to build again, sadly sl is working so badly right now that it’s near impossible, but i’m still trying so there may be some new furniture up in the near future 🙂

stuff there has really been booming. a quest roleplaying thing has started, where you guys could win some really awesome stuff!

my real life boyfriend has gotten the urge to build again too and he is planning more really great old cartoon avatars, including the entire crew from the dungeons and dragons cartoon series. so keep your eyes peeled for that, i will of course announce it here on my blog 🙂

my show is on phreak radio on fridays between 5 and 7 sl time (that’s 8-10 est) lots of fun crap goes on during my show, great music, really crazy parties, you guys should come hang out with us on phreak isle.

that’s about all i have to say, avoiding sl right now due to crap lag and no ability to tp anywhere.

wow, a whole year already? time flew by a bit quick me thinks.

it is a new year and with it brings new expectations and new chances. i am “single” on sl. decided i might as well be onthe prowl. this does not mean i’m looking for a real relationship, just something to have when i’m logged in. :p

today my ass got verified! yes! i can now go romp in silent hill once more 😀 how’d i manage to finally get it fixed? american express giftcard! fuck if i’d known that i would have used one a long time ago!!!

ah well, taken care of none the less :3

i am now a dj for phreak radio. i ASSUME my show is on fridays but i’m not sure if the schedual will be changed or something now that some jobs have changed around the station. i’ll keep you posted on that.

 so it’s that time of year again when people celebrate holidays of some sort. so merry holidays to you all.

i haven’t posted something important here and i apologize for that. my dear friend minx died at 33, a couple of days ago, of a heart attack. she is terribly missed by all who knew and loved her. my heart goes out to lupus during this horrible tragedy. i only hope he can continue on without her.

as for my second life? at the moment it’s on hiatus. i’m disinterested in the world inside my computer and i’m attempting to get more interested in the world outside my bedroom door. people asked me to reconcider but they don’t seem to realize, i need to go outside. being an introvert is no picnic. i hate it out there but i need to go so i can live like normal people. after a month i’ll probably visit sl again once in a while but never again will i become as involved as i have been in the past.
